This site is for all those involved in the commissioning process in London – from local authorities, public sector clients and developers to artists, architects, arts organisations and curators.
It will be regularly updated with new information and research.
This site has been developed as part of the Open-City initiative, Art in the Open – London’s advisor for art in the public realm. It supports the development and vision of London’s art in the public realm as the capital continues to change in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic Games and beyond. It takes a broad view of the public realm and how the role of art and artists, working with others, can enhance our public spaces.
