With the highest concentration of development happening in London, including the Olympic Park, how can the public realm reflect the nature, diversity and cultural identity of the different places in the Lower Lea Valley? Art in the Open has begun taking an overview of how stakeholders in the area are responding to and developing opportunities for the public realm. The first phase of this research has focused on Stratford, given its key location in the Lower Lea Valley.  Our research and knowledge has been informed by Art in the Open’s advisory role with the Arts and Culture Team at the Olympic Delivery Authority.
